Kristýna Onderková

 Kristýna Onderková is from the Czech Republic. She currently studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of American Studies, and also at the Faculty of Law of the Charles University in Prague. Her main interest lies in Canada, especially in Canadian history and politics.

Jana studies translating and interpreting (English and German) at the Comenius University in Bratislava. After obtaining her Bachelor degree at Matej-Bel-University in Banská Bystrica, she went on a one-year working holiday to Vancouver, Canada. Currently, she is spending the summer term at the University of Vienna.

Mária Hudáková

Maria is a second-year MA student of Translation and Interpreting Studies at the Faculty of Arts of Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. She studies the English and the German Language and Culture. She is currently working on her thesis in which she combines two things that she is deeply interested in - Canada's First Peoples and  environmental issues. She is one of last year's EU-Canada Study Tour participants and an organizing team member of Central European Young Canadianists.

Dominika Lopašovská

Dominika studies English language and Literature at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. In 2011, as she became interested in Canadian studies, she got involved in an international organisation Central European Association for Canadian Studies. Her primary scholarly interests are multiculturalism, and civic and human rights in Canada.

Marianne Lévesque

Marianne is a third year student at Bishop’s University, where she is doing an Honours in international studies and a minor in German.  During the second year of her  bachelor degree, she was selected to be a delegate at the National Model United Nations that was taking place in New York City. There, she represented the country of Australia on the Food and Agriculture committee and she was awarded for the Outstanding Position Paper. In 2009, she took part to a cultural trip to Germany and Czech Republic that was organized by the Cegep de Trois-Rivières. 

Canada – US Relations After 9/11

Camille Gilissen 

 

Camille is studying at the Free University of Brussels for a Master's degree in International Relations, with a specialization in "Globalization and public policies". She is interested in environment and cooperation. In september 2012, she took part in the one month "Thinking Canada" study tour. After the study tour, Camille began to write press articles about the issues that were examined during the tour. Her research paper concerns the achievements of two Canadian NGOs she discovered during the tour.
